In view of the current surge of COVID-19 cases in the Municipality of Indang and to ensure safety of the general public, the Indang Water District Office will be temporarily closed from today, January 14 to January 20, 2022.
For a week-long, there have been two confirmed positive cases involving our frontline employees. There are also frontline employees treated as close contacts of their family members who tested positive in COVID-19. All of them had to quarantine and be monitored for symptoms.
To ensure continuous public service despite the closure, customers are advised to pay their water bills thru ECPAY Over-The-Counter and Mobile Online Facilities (i.e. GCash). The payment due dates of accounts falling in the above-stated period of temporary closure shall be moved as follows:
- Zones 1 and 11 – from January 17 to January 24
- Zones 2 and 12 – from January 18 to January 25
- Zones 3 and 13 – from January 19 to January 26
- Zones 4, 14-1, and 14-2 – from January 20 to January 27
- Zones 5 and 15 – from January 21 to January 28
Penalties shall still be imposed for late payments.
Customers may also continue to avail the frontline services of the District via text or online, either thru email (indangwaterdistrict@yahoo.com) or Facebook account, (https://www.facebook.com/iwd099). However, posting of payments and processing of online frontline service applications shall only be acted upon once our normal office operations resume on January 21, 2022.
On-call maintenance personnel and duty pump operators will be available 24/7 to address any water related concerns.
